Our Community INvolvement

We believe that all locally owned firms, such as ours, should have a strong affiliation to the communities where they provide services and sell their services. Regional and national facility maintenance/cleaning firms are less likely to become involved in local towns, community non-profit groups or associations.

As an example, MMSI remained committed to Downtown Saginaw. Our corporate office and training center is located at 200 South Washington Avenue across the street from The Saginaw News. We also have branch offices/operations in Flint, Caro, Midland, Bay City, and in 2007 opened a new branch office Mt. Pleasant/Clare Michigan. We also continue to support many worthwhile local organizations because, as a small local business, it’s just the right thing to do!

Over the years MMSI has received numerous letters of commendations for our local community involvement. We’re very proud to be members of, or lend support to, the following local community organizations:

Field Neurosciences Institute-FNI
www.fni.org

Saint Mary's leadership in neurological and neurosurgical care can, in many ways, be traced to 1961 - and the arrival of a talented physician named E. Malcolm Field. Within a few years, Dr. Field had helped turn Saint Mary's into the neurological care center for our area of Michigan. Saint Mary's developed the region's first - and still the only - Neuro Intensive Care and Progressive Care units.

Maintaining the highest caliber of neurological care can't be done without a little help from our "Friends." Technological and Educational advances are made possible through the generosity of the Friends of Field Neurosciences Institute - a broad based group of community sponsors and financial donors.

Saginaw County Veterans Memorial Plaza, Inc.

OUR FREEDOM isn't free. It's been purchased at a tremendous cost. It's been bought with the dedication, hard work, sacrifice-and, often, the lives-of people. Ordinary people, like you. People who, at some time in their lives, put on a uniform to make a payment on our freedom.

Hundreds of military veterans have come from Saginaw County. And there are still about 19,000 of them living here.

The Saginaw County Veterans Memorial Plaza Committee has been instrumental in building a new Veterans Plaza at Hoyt Park. This Plaza is home to monuments that honor Saginaw County veterans who gave their lives in wars or military conflicts. Each monument is designed with its own special area, allowing the visitor the privacy to reflect, contemplate and honor the veterans and the sacrifices they made.
